Diseases and therapies in ASL agreement

All citizens can take advantage of a cycle of 12 thermal treatments in agreement with the National Health Service, freely choosing the Thermal Center.
To take advantage of the agreement it is sufficient to present the request of the general practitioner with the exact indication of the pathology and the related cycle of related care according to the following table.
The ticket will be paid directly at the Thermal Center.

The prescription is carried out within the affiliated centre where the treatments are carried out, in the case of cardiovascular diseases a specialist certificate is required in order to allow the administration of the treatments.
It is important to check the exact compilation of the medical prescription in order to be able to do the spa treatments. If there were one or more errors in the compilation, the spa facilities would not be entitled to reimbursement by the ASL and therefore, you would be forced to pay in full for the treatments received.

Here are some compilation errors that can make recipes invalid:
Lack of diagnosis
Recipe written half on the computer and half by hand, or with two handwriting or with two colors of ink
Tampering with exemption codes
Lack of stamp or signature of the prescriber
Lack of the assisted person's tax code or regional code
Missing date of issue of the recipe

The MANDATORY fields that must ABSOLUTELY be FILLED in on the PRESCRIPTION are:
The initials of the Province of the ASL and the ASL code to which the client belongs
The tax code of the client (NOT the health care number)
Compulsory biffitura in the absence of the details of the right of exemption
Exemption code if applicable
Total number of left-aligned services or care cycles
Diagnosis of the patient
The date of the prescription
The doctor's stamp, signature and regional code
It is important that only 1 treatment cycle is noted in the "Prescription" box (for example 12 muds + 12 thermal baths)

Guidelines for compiling the prescription for spa treatments
Spa treatments can be requested upon presentation of a medical prescription (to be shown on the day agreed for the start of the treatment at the hotel reception) or privately (free choice of the client or subsequent cycles of spa treatments).

The patient has free access to spa treatments with the sole prescription of his general practitioner, pediatrician or specialist as long as the specialty is in one of the branches relating to the pathologies identified by the S.S.N.
The prescription formulated in the appropriate ASL form must report the pathology of the subject, the indication of the treatment and the number of treatments prescribed.
The ticket will be paid directly at the Thermal Center.

Among the thermal treatments, it is possible to practice: MUDS - BATHS - SHOWERS - ANTHROTHERAPY - INHALATION THERAPY - PHYSIOTHERAPY, all of which can be integrated on request with specific treatments, such as massages and medical gymnastics, to make the effects of the treatments more effective and lasting.
